Light of Day Winterfest 2024 Schedule and Lineups
(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Light of Day WinterFest 2024, the annual music festival taking place throughout January in Asbury Park, Deal, Red Bank, Montclair and New York, has announced a schedule and lineups. All performances and events will raise money and awareness for its continuing battle to defeat Parkinson's disease and its related illnesses ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) and PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy) within our lifetime.
Makin Waves with Richie "LaBamba" Rosenberg: Hip Hip Holiday Hurrah!
In a career spanning over 30 years, Philadelphia-born Richie "LaBamba" Rosenberg has brought his trombone, voice, and personality to the world of music and television. He's toured and recorded with Bruce Springsteen, Southside Johnny, Little Steven, Jon Bon Jovi, Diana Ross, Dave Edmonds, Ricky Martin, John Mayall, Darlene Love, Jessica Simpson, and Joe Cocker, to name a few. LaBamba enjoyed 25 years on late night television with Conan O' Brien, playing trombone as a member of the Max Weinberg 7 and Jimmy Vivino & the Basic Cable Band. With Conan, he also was featured in a myriad of comedy sketches, such as "In the Year 2000," developing a respectable cult following in the process.

The blues ecosystem is dependent on the collaboration of non-profits, venues, fans, bands, educators, business owners, and record labels. The blues societies play an important role in this ecosystem -- they support the bands and musicians by working with venues to book gigs, working with record labels to promote the music, networking with business owners and fans to help support their mission, and working with educators to ensure the blues genre is taught to the next generation.
