From “Sister Kate” to “Why Wait?” Spotlight on Singer/Songwriter Kate Taylor
Singer/songwriter Kate Taylor is a member of what Rolling Stone magazine once called the “First Family of Rock” — the set of musical siblings which includes Alex, James, Livingston, Hugh, and Kate Taylor. In 1971, Kate released her well-received debut album, Sister Kate — a recording that was produced by Peter Asher and featured such prominent musicians as Danny Kortchmar, Leland Sklar, and Russ Kunkel.

(RED BANK, NJ) -- BobFest, the annual tribute to Bob Dylan presented by Pat Guadagno, returned to Red Bank for two shows on May 23rd to celebrate the legendary artist's 80th birthday. The annual tribute missed last year due to the pandemic, but returned with performances in the new Vogel Theatre. Photographer John Posada was on hand to cover the event.
Camden County's 2021 Summer Parks Concert Series
(CAMDEN, NJ) -- Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes will perform on July 4th for the Freedom Festival at Wiggins Waterfront Park in Camden. They will be joined by special guests Arnetta Johnson & Sunny. This is just one of the concerts in Camden County's 2021 Summer Parks Concert Series with more shows to be announced throughout the summer.
More than a “Little Star!” Spotlight on The Elegants’ Vito Picone
In 1956, Vito Picone, a teenager in Staten Island, NY, started his own vocal group, The Elegants. By 1958, the group’s signature song, “Little Star,” rocketed up the Billboard charts to become the #1 song in the nation. Soon, Vito and The Elegants began touring the country with some of the greatest names in rock ’n roll history. Later on, Vito continued to display his talents as an actor, appearing in a number of well-regarded films and television shows.
Brett Altman Releases "Waiting"
Hoboken based singer-songwriter Brett Altman released "Waiting" on Friday, May 14th. This is the latest single from his upcoming album, Not Quite Love. "Waiting" is about overcoming the fear of rejection in order to tell someone how you truly feel.
