(WARETOWN, NJ) -- Albert Music Hall presents "Rock Around the Pines" on Saturday, May 16, 2026, an evening dedicated to the sounds of 1950s and early 1960s rock 'n' roll. The themed program brings classic jukebox favorites, rockabilly rhythms, and vintage dance hall energy to the Pinelands stage, with five local acts performing throughout the evening.
Scheduled performers include Redbird & The Rubber Chickens, The Bluefins, Gilbert Family Band, Sadie Grove, and Billy Penn & The Inside Drivers, with each group performing a 30-minute set. As an added feature, local barbershop quartet Could Be Good will perform as guests arrive.
Audience members are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the era by dressing in vintage-inspired attire, from leather jackets and blue suede shoes to poodle skirts and saddle shoes.
Doors open at 5:30pm. Could Be Good will perform beginning at 6:00pm, and the bands will begin at 6:30pm. Admission is $6 for adults and $1 for children under 12. Free parking is available, and the venue is wheelchair accessible. Albert Music Hall is cash-only throughout the venue. The venue is located at 131 Wells Mills Road (Rt. 532) in Waretown, New Jersey.
As part of the evening, the Hall’s recently renovated Pickin’ Shed will be open for informal jam sessions, welcoming musicians of all experience levels to participate.
Food offerings will include pulled pork, kielbasa and kraut, meatballs, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, a vegan chik’n patty sandwich, and Amish-made desserts. The Hall’s gift shop and 50/50 raffle will also be part of the evening’s activities.
