(KING OF PRUSSIA, PA) -- Rising Sun Presents will celebrate summer with A Funky Reggae Party in Heuser Park on Saturday, August 1, 2026. The evening will feature performances from legendary acts Steel Pulse, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe playing Jimmy Cliff, and The Original Wailers ft. Al Anderson. The lineup also includes The Philly Reggae Allstars ft. members of Wareika Hill. Tabernacle & more, along with DJ sets from Solomonic Sound System (Rob Paine) and Traveler Sounds.
Steel Pulse’s forty year legacy continues to define the magnificent power and beauty of reggae music. Their musical stance and conceptualizations are as potent and relevant today as they were at the beginning of their career, and they remain a powerhouse on stages around the globe.
Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe has electrified audiences around the world for over 25 years, playing shows and touring with artists as varied as James Brown, My Morning Jacket, D’Angelo, Public Enemy, Bob Weir, Parliament Funkadelic and more.
This August in Heusur Park, KDTU will pay tribute to the music of Jimmy Cliff, treating the audience to a celebration of the legendary reggae musician.
The Original Wailers ft. Al Anderson carries on the legacy and iconic sound of reggae’s preeminent group. Over the years they have released a Grammy nominated album and continued to perform music that harkens back to the golden era of the roots reggae genre as equally as it creates the sound of tomorrow.

A Funky Reggae Party is just one of many Rising Sun Presents events in Heuser Park this summer, including the already announced River Roads Festival (Dar Williams, 10,000 Maniacs, Billy Bragg, Shawn Colvin and more) on Saturday, June 27th, Molly Tuttle and Daniel Donato on Thursday, July 2nd, two nights with The Disco Biscuits on July 25th and 26th, and Dinner Party (Terrace Martin, Robert Glasper, Kamasi Washington) on August 2nd.
For each Heuser Park event, Rising Sun Presents brings in a large mobile stage and state of the art sound system, along with food trucks, bars, craft vendors and more. The result is an intimate mini festival experience designed to transport music fans away from the daily grind while they enjoy amazing performances surrounded by the beauty of the outdoor park setting.
