(LONG BEACH ISLAND, NJ) -- The Lighthouse International Film Festival (LIFF) has announced that acclaimed, award-winning actor Tony Shalhoub will appear as a special guest at this year’s festival, taking place June 10-14, 2026 on Long Beach Island.

Best known for his iconic roles across film, television, and stage, Shalhoub has captivated audiences worldwide with his remarkable versatility and depth. From his Emmy-winning performance in Monk to standout roles in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and numerous films to his Tony-winning turn in The Band’s Visit, his career spans decades of exceptional storytelling.

As a special guest of the festival, Shalhoub will participate in a conversation after the festival’s screening of 1996 foodie classic Big Night, offering insights into his career and creative process, moderated by Jason Alexander. Co-director Campbell Scott will be in attendance for the screening. Festival attendees will have the rare opportunity to engage with one of the most respected actors of his generation in an intimate and inspiring setting.

“We’re truly honored to welcome Tony Shalhoub to Long Beach Island and celebrate the 30th anniversary of his remarkable movie Big Night with our audiences. There could not be a more fitting place given its Jersey Shore setting and the fact that it was filmed there,” said Will Kuhn, Lighthouse International Film Festival’s Executive Director.

The Lighthouse International Film Festival, now in its 18th year, is renowned for showcasing a diverse lineup of independent films, fostering emerging talent, and creating meaningful connections between filmmakers and audiences. Shalhoub’s participation, in addition to the previously announced 5-Day Masterclass with Jason Alexander (June 7-11), further elevates this year’s program, promising an unforgettable experience for film enthusiasts.

Additional programming details, including screening schedules and ticket information, will be announced in the coming weeks. Festival passes are now available at www.lighthouseff.com.
