(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- The annual Singer-Songwriter of Cape May Conference & Showcase returns March 27–28, 2026, bringing two inspiring days of music, learning, and connection to historic Congress Hall and venues throughout downtown Cape May. Hosted in Congress Hall's Grand Ballroom and Harrison Conference Center, the 2026 conference continues its tradition of uniting songwriters, performers, and music industry professionals in one of the East Coast's most iconic seaside towns.

On Friday and Saturday, attendees will take part in a robust schedule of music business panels, clinics, workshops, mentoring sessions, and keynote conversations. More than 50 industry professionals will participate as sponsors, speakers, mentors, and talent scouts, offering invaluable insight into songwriting, performance, publishing, recording, and navigating today's evolving music industry. The conference has long been recognized for its ability to connect aspiring artists with decision-makers while giving established talent a platform to inspire and educate.

This year's conference features performances and keynote addresses from acclaimed artist Peter Mroz on Friday, March 27, and celebrated songwriter Maya de Vitry on Saturday, March 28.

Peter Mroz is a soulful singer-songwriter, guitarist, and electrifying performer whose music is driven by human connection, earning national attention as a standout artist on The Voice and a longtime craftsman of Nashville's songwriter and studio scene. Mroz channels depth, warmth, and lived experience into songs that move audiences, balancing a relentless creative drive with a grounded devotion to family and community.

Maya de Vitry is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist whose genre-blurring music—rooted in folk, Americana, country, and indie rock—creates an atmosphere of openness, emotional honesty, and deep connection. A former member of The Stray Birds, she has built a celebrated solo career marked by critically praised independent releases, a magnetic live presence across North America and Europe, and a growing reputation as a producer and collaborator devoted to artistic freedom and reinvention.
