(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- The October Ensemble Theater Company presents The Sweetest Crime: A Chocolate Covered Murder Mystery weekends from February 6 though March 1, 2026 at the Jersey Shore Arts Center.
A hilarious, comedic murder mystery, The Sweetest Crime takes place at a live taping for the struggling game show CHOCOPALOOZA! where talented baking contestants compete for prizes by sculpting chocolate treats into delicious masterpieces. Tragedy strikes when someone is murdered! Everyone is a suspect, and the audience must use clues from the performance to discover who the murderer is...
The cast includes Jennifer Carlisle (Fanny Fudgebottom), Eddie Rogers (Chef Coco), Brandon Gulya (Detective Graham Ganache), Nick St. Onge (Barry Bitters), Elle River (Honeybelle Buttercream), Dakota Reider ("Glaze"), Reese Towler (Maya Melt), and Lex Goyden (Fudgebuddy).
Performances take place Thursday through Sundays. Tickets are available for purchase online. The show is Rated R. 21+ BYOB. The Jersey Shore Arts Center is located at 66 S Main Street in Ocean Grove, New Jersey.
