

(WAYNE, NJ) -- William Paterson University hosts Grand Kyiv Ballet with their performance of Swan Lake on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Shea Center for Performing Arts. Swan Lake is a ballet masterpiece that tells the story of a prince who falls in love with a beautiful swan princess under a spell. Showtime is 7:00pm.
The ballet is renowned for its stunning choreography, intricate set design, and Tchaikovsky's captivating music. Its themes of love, sacrifice, and redemption continue to resonate with audiences of all ages and backgrounds, making it a timeless classic that has endured for more than a century.
This timeless tale of love and magic will be brought to life by the finest dancers of the Ukrainian National Opera and Ballet Theater. The dancers' graceful movements will transport audiences to a world of enchantment and wonder. The performance will feature the extraordinary talents of Viktor Tomashek and Kateryna Malkovich.
Tickets range from $32-$62 and are available for purchase online. Shea Center for Performing Arts is located at 300 Pompton Road in Wayne, New Jersey.

These performances continue the Grand Kyiv Ballet's commitment to giving back to its community. A portion of the proceeds from this U.S. tour will go toward the restoration of the Main Ballet Academy of Ukraine and the repair of its children's dormitory. By attending, audiences not only experience a world-class performance but also contribute to the preservation of a vital institution that has nurtured generations of gifted Ukrainian dancers.

The Grand Kyiv Ballet is a company which deals with the organization of touring activities of the Ukrainian ballet dancers, created by the premiere of the ballet of the National Opera of Ukraine.
