
(LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) -- Music Mountain Theatre presents Sweeney Todd weekends from October 17 through November 2, 2025. Based on the play by Christopher Bond, this Tony-winning musical features a score by Stephen Sondheim and a book by Hugh Wheeler. It's a story of love and murder set in 19th century London, where an unjustly exiled barber returns home seeking vengeance against the lecherous judge who framed him.
Todd soon joins failing pie shop owner Mrs. Lovett in a plan to satisfy his thirst for blood and her need for fresh meat ... and the carnage has only begun!
Sweeney Todd is a limited engagement of 12 performances only from October 17 through November 2 on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm, Saturdays and Sundays at 3:00pm. Tickets are $32 for adults ($30 for students, seniors, and military) and can be purchased at musicmountaintheatre.org, in person at the box office, or by calling (609) 397-3337. Music Mountain Theatre is located at 1483 Route 179 in Lambertville, New Jersey.
The cast includes Louis Palena (Sweeney Todd), Lauren Brader (Mrs. Lovett), Connor Riley (Anthony), Lyndsey Schaefer (Johanna), Libby Kane (Beggar Woman), Matt Keelan (Tobias), Alex Klein (Pirelli), Alexander Minter (Beadle), and David Whiteman (Judge Turpin).
The ensemble includes Elizabeth Axler, Ian Bethmann, Sally Graham Bethmann, Hayley Birnbaum, Jessica Briggs, Korey Donaghy, Jennifer Fischer, Michael Gearty, Michael Hall, Ian Love, Riley Malone, Alison McMullen, Jenny McNiven, Amanda Romig, Theresa M. Smith, Jeff Stephens, Morgan Tarrant, Zachary Uzupis, and Bill Weir.
MMT’s production has direction by Liz Gonzalez, choreography by Louis Palena, musical direction by Jared Williams, scenic design by McAfee Madding, costume design by Jordan Brennan, lighting design by Chris Cichon, and sound design by Nick Bates.

In addition to mainstage productions, MMT offers young audience shows throughout the year. The next show is MMT’s “Great Pumpkin” from October 11-25, followed by MMT’s “The Snow Queen’s Frozen Adventure” from November 1-22. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 11:00am and 1:00pm, and tickets are just $12.
