Concert Hall at Drew University hosts Sinatra, A Man & His Music

An Elegant Tribute: Michael Martocci and Brandon Tomasello Perform Sinatra

originally published: 10/07/2025

(MADISON, NJ) -- Step into the golden era of jazz and swing on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at The Concert Hall at Drew University, as two powerhouse performers—Michael Martocci and Brandon Tomasello—join forces with the acclaimed JTole Jazz Orchestra for an unforgettable night celebrating the timeless charm of Frank Sinatra and the bold brilliance of American jazz. Showtime is 7:30pm.

Michael Martocci Hailed by Sinatra's own manager Eliot Weisman as "the closest you will ever come to reliving the Sinatra experience," Martocci channels the spirit, sound, and swagger of Ol' Blue Eyes like no other. Backed by the 22-piece JTole Jazz Orchestra and performing original Sinatra orchestrations, Martocci delivers all the classic hits with uncanny authenticity. "You close your eyes, and you think it's Frank Sinatra," say devoted fans. This is not imitation, it's pure musical resurrection.

Brandon Tomasello - Known across iconic venues like Borgata, Golden Nugget, and Hard Rock, Tomasello brings a new dimension to vintage jazz. A frequent collaborator with SNL's Joe Piscopo—who nicknamed him "The Kid"—Brandon will premiere never-before-heard arrangements written by legendary orchestrator Billy Byers, unearthing rare Sinatra–Basie treasures not performed live in nearly six decades. It's more than a concert—it's a riveting rediscovery of jazz history.

JTole Jazz Orchestra - Under the direction of award-winning educator and performer Julius Tolentino, this all-star ensemble delivers soul, precision, and musical excellence. Known for top-tier performances and impactful community programs, JTole Jazz Orchestra continues to shape the next generation of jazz artistry.

Tickets are $79 and available for purchase online or by calling (917) 567-5842. The Concert Hall at Drew University is located at 36 Madison Avenue in Madison, New Jersey. Inspired by the Berlin Philharmonic, this 433-seat hall offers breathtaking acoustics and an intimate yet majestic concert experience.
