(NUTLEY, NJ) -- Nutley Little Theatre presents The Waverly Gallery weekends from October 24 - November 8, 2025. The play written by Kenneth Lonergan follows Gladys, the elderly matriarch of the Green family, who has run an art gallery in a small Greenwich Village hotel for many years.
The management wants to replace her less-than-thriving gallery with a coffee shop. Always irascible but now increasingly erratic, Gladys is a cause of concern to her daughter, her son-in-law, and her grandson, from whose point of view this poignant memory play is told.
Directed by Sharon Garry, the cast includes Joe Lozito (Howard), Justin Montanero (Don), Jodi Freeman Maloy (Gladys), Julianne DiPietro (Ellen), and Justin Del Valle (Daniel).
The production team includes: Director Sharon Garry, Stage Manager Eileen Cadorette, Set Designer Stephen Crooks, Lighting Designer Alex Oleksij, Sound Designer Russ Meyer, Master Carpenter Pat Mannix, and Gallery Artist Trish Goginsky.
Performances take place Friday, October 24 at 8:00pm; Saturday, October 25 at 8:0pm; Sunday, October 26 at 2:00pm; Friday, October 31 at 8:00pm; Saturday, November 1 at 8:00pm; Sunday, November 2 at 2:00pm; Thursday, November 6 at 8:00pm; Friday, November 7 at 8:00pm; and Saturday, November 8 at 2:00pm & 8:00pm.
