(MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ) -- Imagine it's October 30, 1938. You're gathered around the radio, listening to a peaceful evening broadcast when suddenly... it's interrupted by a news bulletin. Strange gas explosions are reported on Mars, followed by a meteorite landing in rural New Jersey. Panic and chaos ensue as an alien invasion unfolds, all live on the air.
This October, Classic Radio Road Show, Inc. (CRRS) will take you back to that moment with a live, thrilling recreation of the infamous Orson Welles broadcast of "The War of the Worlds." You'll get to experience the drama as it was originally intended, complete with talented actors and a live Foley artist creating every creak, crash, and Martian death ray right before your eyes. It's a theatrical experience unlike any other, blending classic radio drama with the excitement of a live performance. Join in on the Martian Mayhem!
