Centenary Stage Company presents Jimmy Buffet's "Escape to Margaritaville"

(HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) -- Centenary Stage Company kicks off SUMMERFEST 2025 with Jimmy Buffett's Escape to Margaritaville, July 10-20 in the Sitnik Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center. With a book by Emmy Award winner Greg Garcia and Emmy nominee Mike O'Malley, this production is jam-packed with the artist's most beloved classic tunes including "Cheeseburger in Paradise," "Margaritaville," "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere," "Fins," "Volcano," and many more.

When Tully, a carefree singer-songwriter at a tropical resort, and Rachel, a workaholic vacationer from up north, meet sparks fly as these opposites attract and romance abounds in this heartwarming and hilarious musical comedy.

Specific performance dates and times are Wednesday, July 16 at 2:00pm; Thursdays, July 10 and 17 at 7:00pm; Fridays, July 11 and 18 at 8:00pm; Saturdays, July 12 and 19 at 8:00pm; and Sundays, July 13 and 20 at 2:00pm. Tickets range from $29.50 – $35.00 for adults with discounts available for students and children under 12 on select dates.

Centenary Stage Company also offers a special Buy One Get One (BOGO) promotion for Thursday evening performances.  BOGO tickets are available in person only at the Centenary Stage Company box office (715 Grand Avenue in Hackettstown) beginning at 5:00pm on the day of the performance. On July 18-19, 2025 at 8:00pm each night, the powerful and timely new play returns to Luna for two benefit performances to support the company's travel to Scotland.

The production runs July 11-12 and July 17-19, 2025. This groundbreaking musical, which revolutionized the world of theatre, tells the story of the final week of Jesus' life through the eyes of Judas Iscariot.
