(LAKEWOOD, NJ) -- Two of the most iconic voices in Latin music history will share the same stage—at least in spirit—when Latin Legends: Tribute to Shakira and Selena arrives at The Strand Center for the Arts on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 8:00pm.
This electrifying double tribute show features nationally recognized performers Nira Perez as Selena and Sunny Haymes as Shakira, bringing the music, magic, and unmistakable charisma of these Latin powerhouses to life.
Backed by high-energy bands, dancers, and dazzling production, this show is more than a concert—it’s a celebration of two legends who defined generations of fans. From Selena’s beloved hits like “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom” and “Como La Flor” to Shakira’s global anthems like “Hips Don’t Lie” and “Whenever, Wherever,” the evening will be packed with nostalgia, rhythm, and spectacle.
Tickets range from $33-$63 and are available for purchase online. The Strand Theater is located at 400 Clifton Avenue in Lakewood, New Jersey.
Nira Perez, widely hailed as one of the most accurate Selena tribute artists in the U.S., stuns audiences with her uncanny resemblance and heartfelt performances.
“People come expecting a tribute. They leave saying it felt like Selena was in the room,” says Perez.
Sunny Haymes channels the essence of Shakira with jaw-dropping vocals, infectious energy, and the iconic moves that made the Colombian superstar a global sensation.
“Shakira’s music is bold and fearless,” says Haymes. “I aim to give fans the same adrenaline rush they’d feel at one of her concerts.”
Whether you’re a lifelong fan or discovering these artists for the first time, Latin Legends promises an unforgettable night of Latin pop celebration.
