Put on your detective hat and join Holmes & Watson in Cape May for 'Sherlock Holmes and the Familiar Face'

originally published: 03/24/2025

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- Join Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's master sleuth, Sherlock Holmes, and his loyal friend Dr. John Watson, as you follow the clues in an original mystery, "Sherlock Holmes and the Familiar Face," by Jacklyn Fazio, presented by Cape May MAC (Museums+Arts+Culture).

Sherlock faces a difficult decision when a former adversary is accused of a heinous crime. Will this favorite investigative team help to prove their former adversary innocent, or determine they’ve been guilty all along? Follow the story as the mystery unfolds during this live interactive performance, Saturday and Sunday, April 5-6, 2025.

Sherlock Holmes Weekend is at The Ocean Room at the Marquis de Lafayette Hotel, 501 Beach Ave. Saturday begins with registration over continental breakfast at 9:30am. Act I begins at 10:00am, followed by Saturday’s Search for Clues Tour. Participants will be sent on their own search for clues on the streets of Cape May and compete for the grand prize: a weekend for two to next year’s performance. Act II begins at 2:00pm with light refreshments. On Sunday, lunch is served beginning at 11:30am and Act III begins immediately after at 12:30pm. A cash bar is available.
