Bally's Atlantic City Spreads Holiday Cheer Through Community Initiatives

originally published: 12/18/2024

(ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- Bally's Atlantic City is embracing the spirit of the season by partnering with local organizations to bring joy and support to those in need during the holiday season. This year, Bally's has launched several initiatives aimed at providing gifts and assistance to vulnerable populations in the community.

In collaboration with Preferred Care of Absecon, Bally’s Atlantic City initiated the Adopt An Elder program. This initiative aims to provide gifts to residents who may be without family and friends during the holidays. By fulfilling wish lists and delivering holiday cheer, Bally’s is committed to ensuring that these individuals feel remembered and valued during this special time of year.

Additionally, Bally’s has teamed up with the Salvation Army for the Adopt A Family program, which focuses on providing gifts to local families in need. This partnership highlights Bally’s dedication to supporting the community and making a meaningful impact on the lives of those facing challenges during the holiday season.

Continuing its collaboration with the Salvation Army, Bally’s also participated in the Angel Tree program. This initiative allowed Bally’s team members to select Angel tags featuring the names and wish lists of local children in need. By fulfilling these wishes, Bally’s is helping to brighten the holidays for children who may otherwise go without.

In a further demonstration of its commitment to community welfare, Bally’s Atlantic City has made a generous donation of $1,000 to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. This contribution underscores Bally's dedication to making a positive impact in the community and supporting essential healthcare initiatives. St. Jude is renowned for its groundbreaking research and treatment of pediatric catastrophic diseases, and donations like this help ensure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food. By supporting St. Jude's mission, Bally's Atlantic City is helping to bring hope and joy to children and their families during this special time of year.
