(LINCROFT, NJ) -- The Monmouth County Park System is hosting its annual Creative Arts Festival on Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 10:00am-4:00pm at Thompson Park. This celebration of the arts features more than 50 specially selected artists in a variety of mediums such as pottery, painting, jewelry, and more. This family-friendly festival also includes live music, engaging art demonstrations, and children’s art-based activities.
The event encompasses the grounds of the Creative Arts Center and two beautiful historic barns.
Musical performances are sponsored by Musicians on a Mission and include: Pat Guadagno, Carolann Solebello, Dan Toye, Renee Maskin, Brian Molnar, and Rich Norman.
Art demonstrations include: Sandra Lupo - Jewelry; Karin Trunz - Painting; Kristen Kunc - Portrait Painting; and Konstantin Zingerman – Portrait Sculpture.
New for this year is the Creative Arts Center’s Pottery Challenge! See students from the Creative Arts Center show off their skills using various pottery techniques as they participate in this competition. Children are invited to contribute to the community mural and make crafts. The event will also feature food trucks. Admission and parking for the festival are free. Thompson Park is located at 805 Newman Springs Road in Lincroft, New Jersey.
