Hunterdon County-raised rocker Scott McDonald, the guitarist/co-vocalist of the Fleetwood Mac tribute band Tusk, is having great success with his solo debut album for Jersey-based Bongo Boy Records. “See It Through” has gotten rave reviews from national press, plus national radio play and thousands of Spotify streams.

Featured on the LP is “I Knew You Well,” the Makin Waves Song of the Week.

As the Makin Waves Song of the Week, “I Knew You Well” can be heard between 6 and 8 p.m. on Oct.  31  on “Radio Jersey” at ThePenguinRocks.com. If you miss it, you can tune in any time in the archives at The PenguinMixcloud and RadioJersey.net.

“I think when I wrote the lyrics, it had to do with losing touch with somebody and then reconnecting and realizing that they had grown in a different direction,” Scott said. “It’s happened to all of us from time to time, where we knew somebody and then when we saw them again, they were a different person.  That’s pretty much it I think.
