Never the Name is a local all-star super group with four of the most respected names in the New Jersey music scene.

They recently released their debut album, “Millennial Boomer Consumer,” along with the seven-song offering’s third and final single, “Dirty,” the Makin Waves Song of the Week.

“The song is about the type of person that lies just for attention and treats you like you’re an idiot, thinking that they’ve fooled you into believing their lies,” Will said.

The music video for “Dirty” takes the band on an animated virtual reality adventure.

The album’s first two singles were “Quasimodo’s Love Note” and “Consequences.”

A follow-up LP already is in the works. In the meantime, a release party for “Millennial Boomer Consumer” will be announced soon.
