You can help The NEW Bardots celebrate the spirit of the season with their festive new single, “A New Year’s Lullaby,” the Makin Waves Song of the Week.

Known for their annual tradition of recording holiday songs, The NEW Bardots have chosen to shine a spotlight on New Year’s this year.

“We normally record a Christmas song every year, but this year we decided to step away from the crowded Christmas song pool and give New Years a walk in the holiday song spotlight,” lead vocalist Wayne Olivieri said.

The track was expertly mixed and recorded by bassist Dan Skye at his Sky Lab Studios in Roosevelt and produced by him, Wayne and co-founding guitarist Gar Francis.

The tune pays tribute to the unique week between Christmas and New Year, a time marked by reflection, anticipation, and transition before life resumes its routines.

The NEW Bardots also feature drummer Johnnie Rago and keyboardist John Croot. The band is putting the finishing touches on a  fourth full-length album due in  February. Live shows will follow.

In the meantime, you also can enjoy “A New Year’s Lullaby” at Apple Music.
