(RED BANK, NJ) -- On Sunday, February 27 at 6:00pm, Colossal Street Jam presents "A Night For Sal" at The Vogel. It's a benefit for Sal Marra who was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma this past November. The night features Colossal Street Jam with guitarists Anthony Krizan, Ken Dubman, Mike Vanderweerd and Joey Herr (Resurrextion). Special guests include Jerry Gaskill of Kings X, Sandy Mack, Johnny "Hitman" Burke of Resurrextion, Anthony Flora, plus a very special set by The Moroccan Sheephers. Doors are at 5:00pm.
The band wrote, "In late November 2021, our brother Sal Marra was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and started treatment before the last week of the year. Our music community is coming together to support Sal and his family to help them get thru this difficult time, until he is healthy enough to get back to his normal life and routine.
"Although aggressive, his diagnosis is curable! Please help us support everyone’s best friend and someone who has given so much to all of us thru the years. Even if you cannot go to the show, please donate by buying a ticket. This will be a night to remember, please join us!"
Tickets are $30 and available for purchase online.
