South Camden Theatre Company presents "Lettice & Lovage"
 

(CAMDEN, NJ) -- South Camden Theatre Company continues their 2023 season with Lettice & Lovage by Peter Shaffer from April 14-30, 2023. This is a comical and satirical play centered on a flamboyant tour guide who loves to embellish the history behind an English country house and who butts heads with a fact-conscious official from The Preservation Trust during one of her tours.

 



New York Stage and Film's 2023 Summer Season at Marist College
 

New York Stage and Film, considered "one of the preeminent incubators for theater in the country," returns to Marist College July 14-August 6 for their 2023 Summer Season. For 38 years, NYSAF has operated as a vital incubator for artists and their work, a catalyst for stories that continue across the country and around the world. Tickets go on sale on Monday, May 1.

The Sieminski Theater presents Swinging with the Rat Pack
 

(BASKING RIDGE, NJ) -- Swinging with the Rat Pack is a fun-filled musical celebration that re-creates the magic of The Rat Pack - Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin & Sammy Davis Jr. They will perform at the Sieminski Theater on June 1, 2023 at 7:30pm. “I have an hour and a half of mostly acoustic style songs and I'm in the process of editing 15 music videos so, I am busy," laughed a jovial and excited Joe Bouchard as he discussed his upcoming show at Factory Records in Dover, NJ. "People keep saying, you should do more of your own solo songs so, that's what we did; it's a duo, it's myself on acoustic guitar and my girlfriend, my partner; she plays the Stratocaster. I do the singing and most of the rhythm and then she fills in the parts that need to be played so yeah, it's all good and I’m having fun.”

Elvis Costello & The Imposters, Charlie Sexton, Nick Lowe and Los Straitjackets - "We're All Going On A Summer Holiday" Tour
 

Elvis Costello & The Imposters – with their special guest Charlie Sexton – have announced: "We're All Going On A Summer Holiday" – a 23 date tour produced by Live Nation. Commencing on June 7th in Vancouver, B.C. Canada, the tour includes stops at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles and the Beacon Theatre in NYC. Nick Lowe & Los Straitjackets will open all of the coast-to-coast dates.

 



Natalie Merchant releases "Tower of Babel" single
 

Natalie Merchant's new single "Tower of Babel" is out now alongside a new video. "As much as I had wanted to not let events in the world intrude," Merchant says of the song, "I couldn't disregard the prevailing atmosphere of fear and confusion that we have been living in as a result of the pandemic, climate crisis, economic instability, insane politics, violent insurrection and the shocking fallout from the conservative-stacked reactionary Supreme Court."

Princeton Makes and Ragged Sky Press present Second Sunday Poetry Reading with Ellen Foos and Rhinold Ponder
 

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- Princeton Makes, a Princeton-based artist cooperative, and Ragged Sky Press, a local publisher focused on poetry, will host a Second Sunday Poetry Reading on Sunday, April 9 at 4:00pm. The readings will take place at the Princeton Makes store in the Princeton Shopping Center. The April reading will feature Ellen Foos and Rhinold Ponder. Their readings will be followed by an open mic available to up to 10 audience members who would like to read their original poetry.

Emmy Award-winning Filmmaker, Actor, and Writer to Deliver Spring Gates-Ferry Distinguished Visiting Lecture at Centenary University
 

(HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) -- Emmy Award-winning filmmaker, actor, and writer G. Riley Mills will present this spring's Gates-Ferry Distinguished Visiting Lecture at Centenary University on Monday, April 10. In his lecture, The Four Revelations, Mills will lay out a simple roadmap for personal and professional success that anyone can follow to pursue their life and career goals. The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 7:00pm in the Sitnik Theater in the David and Carol Lackland Center on the University's Hackettstown campus.

 



Registration now open for MPAC's Summer 2023 Performing Arts School
 

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Registration for Mayo Performing Arts Center's Summer 2023 Performing Arts School programs is now open. A variety of one and two-week sessions will be available. Sessions are available for children as young as seven years old, up to 18 years old. Classes will be filled on a first-come, first served basis.

 



Morris Arts to Celebrate 50th Anniversary with 27 Conversationalists at Great Conversations

Seton Hall University Receives $10 Million Commitment for University Center

Brookdale Community College Adjunct Instructor Graduates From FBI National Academy
 

(LINCROFT, NJ) -- Brookdale Community College Adjunct Instructor and Law Enforcement Officer of the Rutgers University Police Department Lt. Stephen L. Acquaviva has graduated as a member of the 285th session of the FBI National Academy. The graduation took place at the National Academy in Quantico, Virginia on March 16th, 2023. Lt. Acquaviva is the 4th officer in department history to complete this prestigious program. Nationally, less than one percent of officers have the opportunity to attend the program.
