Troubadour Acoustic Concert Series presents Abby Posner with Bob Andrews

originally published: 04/23/2025

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- The Folk Project's Troubadour Acoustic Concert Series presents Abby Posner with Bob Andrews on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 7:30pm.  The concert is available in-person and via live webcast.

Abby Posner is a “Genre Fluid” musical force in Los Angeles, captivating audiences with her unmatched versatility and soul-stirring performances. A virtuoso who can effortlessly switch between guitar, banjo, drums, mandolin, and bass, Abby’s live shows are a whirlwind of energy and passion, blending folk, roots, pop, and electronic sounds. Whether playing a bluesy guitar solo or a jaw-dropping banjo riff, her presence is magnetic. From TV shows like GLEE to films, commercials, and global radio hits, Abby’s talent knows no bounds. Her 2023 album Second Chances marks a new chapter, with the hit “Get Loud” charting internationally.

Bob Andrews is a storyteller with deep roots in working-class Americana. Raised in a small town between Philadelphia and the Jersey Shore, his musical journey began with his father’s love for Hank Williams tunes. His passion for music took off when his older brother brought home The Freewheelin’  Bob Dylan album , inspiring Bob to pick up the guitar and banjo. His dedication led to a recording deal with the Dancing Druid label, where he worked with Schooner Fair’s Tom Rowe at Apple Valley Studio to produce his acclaimed CD, Finns Point Light.

Tickets are $20 ($15 for Folk Project members) and available for purchase online.  There is free admission for ages 12 and under when accompanied by a parent or guardian (note: an online ticket is required so they know when seating capacity is reached). The concert takes place at 21 Normandy Heights Road in Morristown, New Jersey. A live webcast ticket is available for $10.

New Jersey rockers The Melancholy Kings kicked off 2026 with the single 'UV', a quasi-psychedelic musical journey drawing from Thomas Pynchon's novel "V", a post-modern homage that follows the enigmatic heroine V and the Whole Sick Crew, brought to life through crunchy guitar riffs, psychedelic keyboards, string interludes, a quasi-rap and a bacchanalian finale.
