Lizzie Rose Music Room presents The Keyes-Bergson-Hooks Band on Saturday

(TUCKERTON, NJ) -- The Lizzie Rose Music Room presents The Keyes-Bergson-Hooks Band on Saturday, April 19, 2025.  The band includes Dave Keyes, Chris Bergson, and Ellis Hooks. Doors are at 7:00pm, showtime is 7:30pm.

Dave Keyes: Dave has played with some of the most important figures of blues, roots and folk music, having had long musical relationships with Odetta, David Johansen, Bo Diddley, rockabilly legend Sleepy LaBeef and gospel great Marie Knight among many others.

Chris Bergson: Chris is an internationally acclaimed American born guitarist, singer, and songwriter. “Chris Bergson plays the kind of guitar you can build a house on – it’s B.B. meets Steve Cropper meets John Scofield.” (ROLL Magazine) Hailed as “the New York street poet with a blues soul” (MOJO) and “one of the most inventive songwriters in modern blues music.

Ellis Hooks: Ellis is an American soul blues and electric blues singer and songwriter, who has released six albums to date. The Allmusic journalist, Thom Jurek, noted that Hooks " touches upon Wilson Pickett, Sam Cooke, and Otis Redding, but feels like one of the gritty New York streets Hooks has busked upon.
