Broadway Theatre of Pitman presents Just Like Janis!

(PITMAN, NJ) -- Just Like Janis! - a tribute to Janis Joplin comes to the Broadway Theatre of Pitman on Friday, April 4, 2025 at 8:00pm. Starring South Jersey's own Cat Manning as Janis Joplin.

Cat’s other national touring projects such as the Exceptions and her Cat-5 band have taken her across the USA from Philly to Hawaii and back. Cat has performed with multiple cover and original bands at top venues like the Golden Nugget Casino in Atlantic City, Lincoln Financial Field, the Bitter End in NYC and more.

A Just Like Janis show takes an audience through a musical time machine starting with Big Brother and the Holding Co., going through her Kozmic Blues Band and landing with the Full-Tilt Boogie Band era that were on her last tour and album.. the PEARL.  In 1 Night… Just Like Janis can re-create moments from the most iconic performances of Janis Joplin’s incredible career: 1967 Monterey Pop, 1968 Fillmore shows, 1969 Woodstock, and 1970 Toronto Express Fest & Pearl Tour origin.

Tickets are $30 and available for purchase online. Rated PG: Enjoyable for all ages, though some performances may be better suited for ages 10 and up. The Broadway Theatre of Pitman is located at 43 S Broadway in Pitman, New Jersey.

Audiences can expect to hear hits like: "Piece of My Heart", "Me & Bobby McGee", "Summertime", "Try", "Cry Baby", "Down on Me", "Ball and Chain", "Move Over", "Mercedes Benz", and many more.
