originally published: 03/30/2025

(SAYREVILLE, NJ) -- WDHA presents Ace Frehley on Friday, May 2, 2025 at the Starland Ballroom.  Support comes from Mainline, Rahway, and Ten Ton Mojo. Doors are at 6:00pm, showtime is 7:00pm.

Known for his iconic "Spaceman" makeup, Ace Frehley is a legendary musician whose guitar skills have left an indelible mark on rock 'n' roll and heavy metal. He co-founded Kiss and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014. Guitar World ranked him among the "100 Greatest Heavy Metal Guitarists of All Time" and hailed his solo in "Shock Me" as one of the "50 Greatest Guitar Solos of All Time." His influence extends to artists like Foo Fighters, Dimebag Darrell, and Tom Morello.

His tenth solo album, "10,000 Volts," is the latest addition to his impressive legacy. Over his 50-plus-year career, he released notable albums, including his platinum-selling self-titled debut in 1978, "Space Invader," "Origins Vol. 1," "Spaceman," and "Origins Vol. 2." "10,000 Volts" features electrifying tracks like the title song, "Walkin' On The Moon," and "Cherry Medicine," showcasing Frehley's signature guitar skills and unique vocals.

The album also includes "Up In The Sky," a song with thought-provoking lyrics, and the instrumental finale "Stratosphere," displaying his exceptional musicality. Ace Frehley's musical journey continues with "10,000 Volts," proving that he remains a dynamic force in rock 'n' roll in 2024 and beyond. No makeup needed; it's all about electrifying music.

Tickets are available for purchase online. Starland Ballroom is located at 570 Jernee Mill Road in Sayreville, New Jersey. The show is All Ages to Enter, 21 & Over to Drink.

Starland Ballroom is owned and operated by AEG Presents/Bowery Presents. Since opening in 2003, the Starland Ballroom has attracted more than 1.5 million fans to concert events featuring everyone from Justin Timberlake and The Jonas Brothers to Jon Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen. Starland hosts an average of 115 events per year, ranging from rock, country, pop and everywhere in between.

On October 29th, 2012 Starland Ballroom was forced to close it’s doors due to damage sustained during Hurricane Sandy. The severity of the damaged forced the venue to be remodeled and closed for 10 months. With this closure came the opportunity to upgrade the venue where applicable but not lose the look and feel of the original Starland Ballroom. The venue reopened on September 6th, 2013 and has been rocking ever since!
