(PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Arts Council of Princeton (ACP) announces the return of Princeton Porchfest on Saturday, April 27. Princeton Porchfest, which made its debut in 2022, is a family-friendly event where musicians play free shows on porches throughout the neighborhood. Attendees are invited to stroll from porch to porch and relax on front lawns and sidewalks as they enjoy live, local talent.

This year’s event, the third Porchfest coordinated by ACP, will feature 15 temporary music venues boasting an average of five performers each. Porch locations vary from downtown homes and businesses to porches in the Witherspoon-Jackson and Riverside neighborhoods, as well as the “tree streets”. More than 80 45-minute sets will take place at Porchfest, spanning a wide variety of genres for all to enjoy.

The live music will kick off at 12:00pm and continue at each location until 5:00pm. The evening will conclude at the Arts Council’s 102 Witherspoon porch with a closing concert by rock band The Prisms.

An interactive Porchfest map is available on the Arts Council’s website, complete with scheduled performances and food and drink options to explore along the route. Fan-favorite returning performers include Gabby Toledo, The Shaxe, Ruby West, and Ride or Die, to name a few. Exciting new performers to keep an eye on include TB Percussion, DeLaVida, Joshua Mitchell, and The Mixxtape.

“What makes Porchfest so special is that the event map will take you beyond our fantastic downtown and into our charming residential neighborhoods – perhaps into areas you’ve never explored before”, shares Adam Welch, ACP Executive Director. “No matter where you start, you’ll always be within walking or biking distance to a variety of stages to visit and talent to enjoy.”
