(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- Renowned singer Nella brings her multilingual artistry to Ocean County College, performing on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at the Grunin Center for the Arts. Showtime is 7:00pm.

Born in Venezuela and a graduate of Berklee College of Music, Nella quickly rose to international fame due to her powerful voice and indisputable stage presence. The winner of the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 2019, Nella has sold out venues across the United States, Venezuela, Mexico, Spain, and the UK, and has performed with prominent artists such as Alejandro Sanz, Luis Enrique, and Susana Baca. She has also collaborated with Jennifer López, Juan Luis Guerra, Carlos Vives, Monsieur Periné, and Los Amigos Invisibles.

Nella’s music combines the folkloric roots of her native country with modern and Andalusian influences, immersing audiences in a singular sound that has captivated listeners around the world. Her debut album, “Voy (I Go),” produced by Javier Limón, earned praise from NPR and The New York Times, which named its title track one of the best songs of 2019. After signing with Sony Music, Nella released her sophomore album, “Doce Margaritas,” in 2021.

Her latest album, “En Otra Vida,” continues to highlight her signature style while paying homage to influential women composers in Latin American music through fresh interpretations of classic songs and collaborations with contemporary musical artists celebrating Spanish-language composers.
