(CLIFTON, NJ) -- The rock-grunge-punk-outlaw country band Trashy Annie from Austin, TX will headline a night at Dingbatz on Thursday, September 18, 2025. The lineup also includes Midnight Hellion. Doors are at 7:00pm.
Trashy Annie is a genre-defying American rock band fronted by Annie Davis, the 2023 CMA of Texas Americana Artist of the Year. With a sound forged in the bars of Austin and tested on stages from New York to L.A., the band blends country soul, punk defiance, and hard rock grit into a high-octane live experience that Rockin' Magpie Magazine raved as “grittier than Ashley McBryde or early Kacey Musgraves ever went, and I bloody love it”.
Trashy Annie is releasing their upcoming album Let It Kill You on October 31st and a forthcoming collaboration with Joan Jett’s longtime drummer Thommy Price, Trashy Annie is gearing up for an ambitious 2025 North America tour this fall. The band continues to challenge stereotypes and raise hell—one unforgettable show at a time.
Tickets are $17.95 and available for purchase online. The show is open to all ages. Dingbatz is located at 620 Van Houten Avenuein Clifton, New Jersey.
Annie Davis came to music later in life, picking up her first guitar at 44. A self-taught songwriter, she penned her first track “Runnin” in 2020, launching a creative firestorm fueled by determination, whiskey, and an unapologetic middle finger to convention. An expert in biomechanics and a successful entrepreneur, Davis funneled her work ethic into mastering multiple instruments and co-producing her own recordings throughout the pandemic.
After going viral for her bold performance style and youthful wardrobe choices, Davis reclaimed the term “trashy” and turned it into a mission naming the band Trashy Annie as a declaration of fearless authenticity. The 2022 release of “Nuclear Meltdown” marked a major turning point, leading to studio sessions under the mentorship of P.H. Naffah (The Refreshments) and Jeff Lusby-Breault, alongside members of The Wallflowers and Faith Hill’s ensemble.
In May 2023, Trashy Annie released Sticks and Stones, a 12-track debut album praised for its raw storytelling, punchy hooks, and outsider anthems like “Bama” and “Born Pretty.” The band—featuring Miles Barker (bass), Blake Jurasin and Amir Neubach (guitars), and Ryan Smith (drums) has since toured relentlessly, performing over 100 shows nationwide in their first year alone.
Live, Trashy Annie delivers an electrifying blend of Janis Joplin fire and Joan Jett swagger. Their high-energy performances have earned a devoted following and a reputation for shows that leave audiences exhilarated.
