(CARTERET, NJ) -- Legendary singer, songwriter, and global feminist activist Annie Lennox will take the stage on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at The Carteret Performing Arts and Events Center, for an unforgettable evening of stories, inspiration, and impact. Known for her groundbreaking music career and tireless activism, Lennox will share personal reflections on creativity, advocacy, and what it means to use one's voice for change.

Moderated by V (formerly Eve Ensler), the Obie Award-winning playwright, author and founder of V Day and One Billion Rising; this rare appearance offers fans, changemakers, and cultural enthusiasts the opportunity to hear directly from one of the most influential voices of our time. This is more than a conversation — it’s a journey through music, meaning, and movement.

This event is in support of the release of Annie Lennox: Retrospective. Made in close collaboration with Lennox herself, her new book, Retrospective beautifully gathers together over 200 images, some created by celebrated photographers such as Richard Avedon, Paolo Roversi, Bettina Rheims and Ellen von Unwerth, interspersed with song lyrics and personal anecdotes to provide a fascinating insight into aspects of Annie Lennox’s life as a performer, song-writer and creative force.

Purchased tickets to this event include a copy of Retrospective, which will be available at the event. Tickets are available for purchase online. Carteret Performing Arts and Events Center is located at 46 Washington Avenue in Carteret, New Jersey.

The Carteret Performing Arts & Events Center is a multi-level, flexible space venue featuring a lower-level comedy/jazz club with a piano lounge; a main floor concert/comedy and entertainment space with luxury theater-style seating that can be easily removed to accommodate a variety of events such as expos, weddings, dinners, and more. The upper-level VIP seating includes VIP Box Suites, private VIP spaces, and a spacious second-floor lobby with a baby grand piano. The rooftop lounge, decorated with high-end furnishings, fire pits, heaters, and bars, boasts its own stage and private cabana-style seating for dining and enjoying the sunset.
