(RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ) -- County Executive Jim Tedesco, the County Board of Commissioners, and the County Parks Department are excited to announce the full schedule for Bergen County's 2nd Annual Star-Spangled Spectacular on July 4, 2025 in Overpeck County Park. Musical groups Super Trans Am, Glenn Roberts Country Band, and Tempo Alegre will take the stage ahead of a performance from the New Jersey Wind Symphony.

All are invited to attend this patriotic afternoon of family fun which will include children’s activities, two-dozen food trucks, a beer and wine garden, and stunning fireworks to conclude the evening over Overpeck Creek.

“Last year’s Star-Spangled Spectacular marked a new tradition for Bergen County, and we’re proud to build on that momentum in 2025,” said County Executive Jim Tedesco. “With the return of fireworks and a world-class performance by the New Jersey Wind Symphony, we invite families from across the County to come together at Overpeck Park as we celebrate our country’s independence and look ahead to America’s 250th birthday in 2026.”

“We’re honored to once again be part of Bergen County’s official Fourth of July celebration,” said Chris Wilhjelm, Music Director of the New Jersey Wind Symphony. “It’s a joy to share this day of patriotic pride through music, and we look forward to uplifting the spirit of our community with another memorable performance.”

“The Star-Spangled Spectacular is quickly becoming a signature tradition in Bergen County, bringing together families, neighbors, and visitors for a joyful celebration of our nation’s independence,” said Commissioner Chairwoman Mary Amoroso. “From the incredible fireworks over Overpeck Creek to the stirring performance by the New Jersey Wind Symphony, this event reminds us of the power of community and the enduring spirit of America. As the County’s liaison to Bergen 250, I’m proud to see this celebration included as part of our broader effort to honor Bergen County’s rich history and vibrant future.”
