The Simon & Garfunkel Story Comes To The Basie On January 30

(RED BANK, NJ) -- The Count Basie Center for the Arts presents The Simon & Garfunkel Story on January 23, 2020. Using huge projection photos and original film footage, featuring a full live band performing all the hits including "Mrs Robinson", "Cecilia", "Bridge Over Troubled Water", "Homeward Bound" and many more.  **NOTE: this show was originally scheduled for January 30, 2019 but had to be postponed due to a winter storm.  Tickets for the original date will be honored on January 23, 2020.  For those unable to make the new date, refunds will be honored at the original point of purchase through August 1, 2019. 

The show tells the story of Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel from their humble beginnings as Tom & Jerry to their incredible success as one of the best-selling music groups of the 1960s to their split in 1970. It culminates with the legendary reunion for “The Concert in Central Park” in 1981. 

A hit in London's West End, The Simon & Garfunkel Story has now seen by over a 1/4 million people across the world.  

The Count Basie Center for the Arts is located at 99 Monmouth Street in Red Bank, New Jersey.
