The Newton Theatre Presents The Big Apple Comedy Club On Friday, July 13

(NEWTON, NJ) -- The Big Apple Comedy Club returns to The Newton Theatre with four of NY City's hottest comedians for a 'Hot Fun in The Summertime' show on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 8:00pm. The lineup includes Paul Bond, Tom McTiernan, Robyn Schall, and Mick Thomas.  Tickets start at $10.

Paul Bond is one of New York’s most requested comedians. Along with his hilarious stand up comedy, Paul also brings his guitar skills to his stage show and the end result is a funny, high-energy night of enter- tainment. Paul has recorded two of his own comedy CDs as well as a holiday CD of "off-color" Christmas parodies. Paul's regular appearances on radio shows such as Opie and Anthony, Ron & Fez, Chaz and AJ in the morning and Waking Up with the Wolf have proven him to be a quick witted personality that's welcomed on the air.

Recently, Paul just got off of a National Tour with Jim Breuer, of "Saturday Night Live" and "Half Baked" fame. He appeared as Jim's special guest comedian, opening the show and also as guitar player in his back-up band. The tours included such venues as Madison Square Garden in NY, The Fillmore in San Francisco and 8 House of Bluesshows in differents states. You can also see Paul in the Comedy Central Special, Jim Breuer "Hardcore", now on DVD and on Jim's new CD "Smoke-N-Breu."

Tom McTiernan is one of the East Coast's best comedians. He has appeared at New York City’s and Los Angeles’ very best comedy clubs including Comic Strip Live, The Gotham Comedy Club, and The World Famous Improv. On televison, Tom has appeared on Comedy Central’s “Stand, Up Stand Up”, NBC’s “Friday Night” and, most recently, Gotham Comedy Live. Tom has also worked in Atlantic City and Las Vegas where he has opened for numerous acts including Tom Jones and Blood Sweat and Tears.

Robyn Schall was named one of CBS.com’s “Top 5 standout comics in NY,” and has been taking the comedy scene by storm. In addition to having her own monthly show at Caroline’s on Broadway, she also per- forms all over the country. Robyn has been seen on "Live at Gotham" on AXS TV, “Raising McCain” on Pivot TV, FOX's "Bethenny Show" and was heard on Howard101 SiriusXM Radio. She was recently fea- tured in the latest A$AP Rocky music video and has appeared on TLC and TruTV. Robyn was the first place winner this year in the Hoboken Comedy Festival and has been featured in the NY Comedy Festival. She has two popular web-series titled “Not The Sharpest Crayon” and "Dumbbelles." Robyn is also the co-host of the fitness podcast, "The BodCast" produced by Stand Up NY Labs.

Mick Thomas was born and raised in Wexford, Ireland, but it wasn’t until moving to New York that Mick’s stand-up comedy career was born. A natural performer and insightful writer, in a few short years Mick has blown away one club owner after the next with his honest and genuinely original takes on American society and life as a young and dedicated family man. Mick Thomas entertains audiences regularly all across Long Island and Manhattan, and is swiftly becoming one of the most sought after acts in Clubs and Casinos up and down the East Coast including The Borgata Hotel and Casino, Stand Up NY and The Comedy Cellar. Mick has performed with the biggest names in comedy including Dom Irrera, John Pinette, Jim Breuer and Greg Giraldo. Recently, Mick made his American TV debut tearing it up on Gotham Comedy Live on AXS TV.
