(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- The Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities presents REV’s Vaudeville at the Emlen Physick Estate in Cape May from Tuesday August 6 through Thursday August 15. After last summer’s big hit, The 1940s Cabaret, REV will bring more musical joy to Cape May with another unique and exciting entertainment experience guaranteed to be the perfect way to spend a summer evening at the Shore. All performances begin at 7:00pm.
“A diverse display designed to dazzle and delight!” – this show is just the ticket for the whole family, and includes such enduring, endearing favorites as Hot Time In The Old Town Tonight, How You Gonna Keep ‘Em Down On The Farm,When The Red, Red Robin Comes Bob, Bob Bobbin Along, Ain’t We Got Fun and Bye Bye Blackbird among so many others. And as Al Jolson famously said – “You ain’t heard nothin’ yet!”
The production is directed by Rosey Hay, Co-Artistic Director of REV Theatre Company and created by Rudy Caporaso. Performed by Rudy Caporaso, Marilyn McIntyre and Lorenza Bernasconi.
New York professional actor AEA member Rudy Caporaso (Co-Artistic Director of REV Theatre Company) played the roles of twin Dromios in The Comedy of Errors, Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the title role in 2017’s Hamlet, and most recently the creator of performer in The 1940s Cabaret. He has performed extensively Off Broadway, in Philadelphia, regionally and in the United Kingdom.
Rosey Hay is the Co-Artistic Director of REV Theatre Company. She trained at LAMDA and has worked at the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Williamstown Theatre Festival, Off Broadway and regionally. She has taught and directed at Juilliard, NYU’s Graduate Acting Porgram and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts among many others and she is on the faculty of the University of the Arts and Temple.

Bring blankets or chairs and a picnic to enjoy before the performance! Tickets are $25 for Adults; $20 for seniors and students (12 and older); and free for children under 12. The show will go on rain or shine. In the event of rain, performances will be relocated to the Carriage House Cafe and Tea Room also on the grounds of the Physick Estate.
