(EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Kicking off just in time for the Academy Awards, Playhouse 22's newest online concert is currently streaming at Playhouse22.org. "Playhouse 22 Goes to the Movies" is the third online concert event produced by the East Brunswick-based community theater troupe. Presenting songs made popular on the silver screen from such films as the Wizard of Oz, Dirty Dancing, 9-5 and much more.
Cast includes Jina Choi, Allison Cohen, Talia Fabrizzio, Mimi B. Francis, Ali Gleason, Kevin Gray, Marissa Marciano, Mark Perkins Jr., Howard Whitmore with Francois Suhr at the piano. Hosted by Peter Riga and Jessica Junqua.

Playhouse 22 is East Brunswick’s award-winning, volunteer-run community theater troupe. Located at the Elliott Taubenslag Theater at the East Brunswick Community Arts Center, Playhouse 22 has been part of the community for more than 60 years. Due to the pandemic, the theater group has been unable to present in-person, live theater since February 2020.
