(HOBOKEN, NJ) -- Mile Square Theatre is currently presenting its beloved production of It’s a Wonderful Life: a live radio play, by Joe Landry. Mile Square Theatre becomes a live recording studio in the golden age of radio, and MST theatre goers become the studio audience as WMST “goes on air” to broadcast Frank Capra’s popular holiday story. The production runs Thursday through Sunday until December 23.
Here are some photos by Joe Epstein from the production.
“This year Joseph Discher takes the helm as director," says MST Artistic Director Chris O’Connor. "Joe’s well-known for his work at Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, as well as stints Off-Broadway and regionally. The wonderful John Keller, who wowed our audiences as Dracula two season ago, comes back to reprise the role of George Bailey. We’re so excited to have him back at MST.”

The creative team, led by director Joseph Discher (The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey’s Charlie’s Aunt) includes MST scenic designer Bethanie Wampol (STNJ), costume designer Natalie Loveland (Charlie’s Aunt at STNJ), and lighting designer Jason Flamos (MST’s The 39 Steps).
