"Mother Of All Secrets" To Screen At Golden Door International Film Festival

(JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- The Golden Door Film Festival is hosting a red carpet screening of the female-led thriller, Mother of All Secrets, on Friday, September 21 at Landmark Loew’s Theatre with several stars in attendance. The movie, which was entirely shot in Bermuda, stars Emmy award-winner Kate Mansi, Top Gun star Kelly McGillis, Real Housewives of New York LuAnn de Lesseps, Brooke Burfitt and local Jersey actor Sean Stolzen.
Mother of All Secrets is about a US state senator who goes missing on a babymoon in Bermuda and his pregnant girlfriend Aubrey searches for answers. What she learns is his estranged mother is on the island and knows more about the disappearance than she is letting on.
The movie received a Triple F rating by Bath Film Festival and won Best Film and Best Director at the California Women’s Film Festival. The director, Lucinda Spurling, is looking forward to the movie’s East Coast Premiere, which she proudly states, “was produced by, written by, and directed by women, starring women, for women. It is always fun to see what a surprise the twist is with each screening, consistently our audiences have said they did not see it coming.”
