(NEWARK, NJ) -- New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias on Saturday, April 21, 2018 with performancs at 7:00pm and 10:00pm. In recent years, Iglesias has become one of America’s most successful stand-up artists, performing to sold-out audiences around the world and racking up well over 300 million views on YouTube. His performances are a riotous blend of storytelling, parody, character and sound effects that bring his personal experiences to hysterical life. Tickets range from $39 to $99.
The Los Angeles Times describes Iglesias’s style as “masterful, clever and embracing,” while the San Antonio Express-News classifies him as “a comedy genius.”
On the big screen, Iglesias has starred in Magic Mike, Magic Mike XXL, A Haunted House 2, and in his own theatrical stand-up concert film, The Fluffy Movie. He voiced the role of Jimmy in The Nut Job and Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature, and also lent his distinctive voice to other animated hits like The Book of Life, Smurfs: The Lost Village, Disney’s Planes, and two current features, The Star and Ferdinand.
His television work includes the ABC sitcom Cristela, the Netflix special I’m Sorry for What I Said When I Was Hungry, and Comedy Central’s Stand-Up Revolution as well as a series of successful Comedy Central specials including Aloha Fluffy, a two-night event that drew over 15 million viewers. Iglesias’s latest series, Fluffy’s Food Adventures (formally Fluffy Breaks Even) just completed its third season on Fuse TV.
NJPAC is located at One Center Street in Newark, New Jersey.
