(JACKSON, NJ) -- The first annual Six Flags Food & Brew Festival will take place August 16th through 19th from noon to 8:00pm. The festival features delicious treats, an expansive variety of craft beer, cocktails and live entertainment. Guests can enjoy a myriad of tastes ranging from specialty mac & cheese, a variety of kabobs, pulled pork and short rib sandwiches to strawberry salad, seafood gumbo and tacos, plus pickles and gourmet milkshakes. More than 40 IPAs, lagers, ciders and other craft seasonal beers, plus specialty cocktails and frozen drinks are available from the bars, including Main Street’s new Ale House.
Live music featuring more than 12 of the best Jersey Shore rock, country, jazz, and blues bands including Williams Honor, Big Hix, Due South, Ned Ryerson and the Groundhogs, Mario and the Slyders, Right Turn at 40, Billy Walton Band, Ally Venable Band, Billy Hector & the Midnight Horns, Sonny Kenn Band, Bob Lanza Band featuring Steve Krase, Matt O'Ree Band, and Eryn.
Food stations, bars and live music are available from noon to 8:00pm each day along the Lakefront. Festival admission is included with theme park admission, Season Pass and active Membership. Food, beer and specialty cocktails are available for an additional fee.
Here's a sampling of the menu options: short rib sandwich; mac and chees three ways; caprese salad kabobs; tacos; pulled port sandwich; apple dumpling; Filipino chicken kabobs; jerk chicken kabobs; Hawaiian shrimp kabobs; summer strawberry salad; seafood or cajun gumbo with rice; cornbread; pickle on a stick; lobster rolls; and more.
The festival takes place Six Flags Great Adventure, Rt. 537, Jackson, NJ in the Lakefront area near THE JOKER and the new Ale House bar.
