originally published: 05/18/2018

Billy Van Zandt and Jane Milmore's "The ManOPause Boys" To Be Performed In Freehold(FREEHOLD, NJ) -- Billy Van Zandt and Jane Milmore’s new musical-comedy The ManOPause Boys is coming to the American Hotel in Freehold on Saturday, June 30. Sold-out audiences across the country have been loving this hysterical musical from the play-writing team the NY Times calls “A Riot!” Four guys finally open up and confess the agony and hilarity of going through MANOPAUSE.

Find out what men are really thinking as they navigate everything from the depths of expanding waistlines to the heights of Viagra.  And all’s well that ends well as our mid-life quartet concludes with the rousing revelation that you’ll never be younger than you are today!

Through such songs as "My Prostate is the Size of a Buick," "I Just Took a Pill Called Viagra," "My God I Am My Father," "My Get Up and Go Just Got Up and Went," and "In Praise of the Older Woman," the show reaches the conclusion that 50 is the new funny!

The production stars author Billy Van Zandt along with Jeff Babey, Tom Frascatore and Art Neill.  Book and Lyrics are by New Jersey natives Billy Van Zandt & Jane Milmore. Music is by Wayland Pickard.

Van Zandt and Milmore’s work in television has garnered them Emmy nominations, People Choice Awards, Prism Awards, and NAACP Image Awards for such shows as Newhart with Bob Newhart; Suddenly Susan with Brooke Shields; Martin with Martin Lawrence; The Wayans Bros.; and Daddy Dearest with Don Rickles.
