(MANASQUAN, NJ) -- A full lineup of Summer Camps returns to Algonquin Arts Theatre in downtown Manasquan this summer. Acting and musical theatre camps grouped by grade level begin June 28 and run for one or two weeks through mid-August. All camps will include a final showcase on the Algonquin stage.
Social distancing and mask protocols will remain in place and strictly enforced following guidance from the CDC, State of New Jersey and the National Association for Music Education. Full details on policies are available on the theatre’s website.
Each camp section is limited to 15 students per class, which means some will fill quickly. Students should enroll based on the grade they enter in the fall.

Teaching artists Musical Theatre and Acting & Improv for Grades K-6 will be Julie Nagy and Ian Moore. The 7th – 10th Grade Acting & Improv class will be led by Frank Falisi, and Ali Gleason will lead Musical Theatre for the same age group.
Sheryl Linfante of Manasquan’s Ocean Dance Force will lead Broadway Dance Week from August 16 to 20. In this class, up to 15 experienced dancers will focus on musical theatre dance styles including specific choreography from some of the best-known Broadway shows.
Additionally, Algonquin Arts Theatre is working with Manasquan Recreation to offer Theatre Camp this August 2-13 at the Recreation Annex. Enrollment for this program will be available via Manasquan’s Community Pass closer to summer.
