Colombia's Mariana Herrera Jury Takes Centerstage in "Ragtime: The Musical" at AxelrodPAC

(DEAL PARK, NJ) -- It's the thrill of a lifetime for 14-year-old Mariana Herrera Jury who is currently lighting up the stage in Ragtime: The Musical, directed and choreographed by Luis Salgado, now playing at Axelrod Performing Arts Center. The production runs on select dates until March 25.


Eric Clapton To Play Shows at MSG

(NEW YORK, NY) --  Legendary guitarist Eric Clapton will return to the area with three shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City.  The shows run from Saturday, October 6 to Monday, October 8. These shows will feature Clapton with his band: Nathan East (bass), Sonny Emory (drums), Doyle Bramhall II (guitar), Chris Stainton (keyboards), Paul Carrack (organ/keyboards), Sharon White (vocals), Sharlotte Gibson (vocals).  The concerts will also feature special guests Gary Clark Jr. and Jimmie Vaughan.

Bix Beiderbecke Birthday Bash Tonight At Bickford Theatre

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- The legendary jazz musician Bix Beiderbecke will be celebrated by cornetist Mike Davis and his all-star group, the New Wonders, with the Bickford Theatre’s popular Bix Beiderbecke Birthday Bash tonight (Monday, March 12) at 7:30pm. Joining Davis will be Dan Levinson on clarinet, Joe McDonough on trombone, Jared Engel on banjo, Dalton Ridenhour on piano, Jay Rattman on bass saxophone, and Jay Lepley on drums. 

Paul Simon's Farewell Tour Is Coming To Newark's Prudential Center

(NEWARK, NJ) -- Legendary songwriter, recording artist and performer Paul Simon has announced the final leg of Homeward Bound – The Farewell Tour. The Newark Native will make a highly anticipated stop at Prudential Center on September 15 at 8:00pm. As previously announced, Simon and his band will embark on the artist’s final tour May 16 in Vancouver, bringing to the stage a stunning, career-spanning repertoire of timeless hits and classic songs.

Tommy Castro & The Painkillers To Celebrate New Release At Debonair Music Hall

(TEANECK, NJ) -- Tommy Castro and The Painkillers will celebrate the release of Stompin' Ground on Saturday, April 7 at Debonair Music Hall in Teaneck.  On the band's latest album, Castro (a native of San Jose, CA) opens windows both into his past and his always-evolving musical future.  The show begins at 8:00pm.  Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

Joe Crookston and Emily Mure To Perform At Minstrel Acoustic Concert On April 6

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- American folksinger Joe Crookston will headline at the Minstrel Acoustic Concert Series on Friday, April 6 at 7:30pm at the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship, 21 Normandy Heights Rd, Morristown.  New York City native Emily Mure will open.


Kathleen Madigan Brings Her "Boxed Wine & Bigfoot" Show To NJPAC On November 3rd

(NEWARK, NJ) -- Kathleen Madigan makes a welcome return to New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) with her hilarious new show, Boxed Wine & Bigfoot on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 7:00pm. For more than 25 years, Madigan has been one of America’s most reliable stand-up performers.  Tickets for her new show range from $59 to $89.

Montclair Art Museum presents Building Montclair in LEGO

(MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- The Montclair Art Museum presents Building Montclair in LEGO™ on Sunday, March 25.  There are two sessions: Session I runs from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and Session II from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Here's your opportunity to work with architect Stephen W. Schwartz (of Building Blocks Workshops) to visualize Montclair as you’ve never seen it before. With over 60,000 LEGO™ building blocks at their disposal, families will recreate specific buildings in Montclair to be placed on a scaled map.
