(HILLSBOROUGH, NJ) -- The Somerset Valley Players, Hillsborough’s award-winning, nonprofit community theatre, is reopening for live performances after an 18-month closure due to the COVID pandemic. Their first production back in business is the comedy, Don’t Dress for Dinner, opening on Friday, September 10 and running weekends through September 26.
Written by Marc Camoletti and directed by Todd Bennington, Don’t Dress for Dinner is a farce about two adulterous couples who unexpectedly find themselves at the same French chateau.
Masks are required within the playhouse.
Produced by Bennington and Holly Lessing, who is also the stage manager. The show is sponsored by the Robert W. Pittenger Family.
Don’t Dress for Dinner runs weekends September 10-26. Friday and Saturday shows at 8:00pm; Sunday matinees at 2:00pm. Tickets are $20 adult/$18 seniors & students. The Somerset Valley Players theater is located on 689 Amwell Road (Rout 514) in Hillsborough. The theater is air conditioned, barrier free and wheelchair accessible.
