Count Basie Center for the Arts To Screen "Clerk" followed by Q&A with Kevin Smith and Malcolm Ingram on November 4th

(RED BANK, NJ) -- Count Basie Center for the Arts will screen Clerk – The Kevin Smith Documentary by Malcolm Ingram on Thursday, November 4th at 7:30pm. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the film’s subject, Kevin Smith, and director Malcolm Ingram. Tickets range from $30 - $79.
Fresh off a South by Southwest premiere comes this star-studded, heartwarming, comprehensive, critically acclaimed deep dive into a pop cultural juggernaut who makes his living gratifying people with only his mouth! Clerk - the celebrated documentary by director Malcolm Ingram (Small Town Gay Bar, Drawing Flies) takes you deeper into Smith history than ever before, from his childhood in New Jersey, to the day they cemented his footprints at the world famous TCL Chinese Theater, with a flock of famous folks testifying on Silent Bob’s behalf!
NOTE: Beginning September 8, the Count Basie Center for the Arts will require patrons to present one of the following to attend events at Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre, The Vogel or Basie Center Cinemas: Proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of door time.
