(SPRING LAKE, NJ) -- South Street Players will hold auditions for God of Carnage by Yasmina Reza on Sunday, September 19th at 1:00pm and Thursday, September 23 at 7:00pm. Auditions will take place at Wesley Hall (4th and Mercer Avenue) in Spring Lake.

Before the play begins, two 11-year-old children, get involved in an argument because Bruno refuses to let Ferdinand join his 'gang'. Ferdinand knocks out two of Bruno's teeth with a stick. That night, the parents of both children meet to discuss the matter. Characters include: Alain Reille, Annette Reille, Véronique Houllié, and Michel Houllié.

Performance dates for the show are November 5-7 and November 12-14, 2021.

At performances, given Covid-19 there are rules and procedures to follow. We know you'll understand as it's our goal for safety of all attendees. The procedures in place are set according to mandates by the State of New Jersey and the management of St. Andrew's Church, however given recent changes by CDC and State of New Jersey there is some relaxation of rules. Please click here for The Rules update. The safety and continued good health of our patrons is of paramount interest to The South Street Players.
