(EDISON, NJ) -- On Sunday, October 10th (World Mental Health Day), Mignolo Dance will be premiering the first iteration of a brand new piece, Visitor Parking, an evening length work that explores the nuances of mental illness. The performance takes place at 936 Amboy Avenue in Edison, NJ, starting at 7:00pm.
Tickets are $20 and available for purchase online.
Grant funding has been provided by the Middlesex County Board of County Commissioners Through a grant award from the Middlesex County Cultural and Arts Trust Fund. Made possible by funds from Middlesex County, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
mignolo dance is a 501-c3 nonprofit contemporary dance company founded by sisters Charly & Eriel Santagado. They have been dancing and creating together for more than ten years and use this experience to continue to collaborate with each other and other dancers and artists throughout the tristate area. Their work explores elements of various artistic mediums through the lens of movement.
