(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- The Ocean County College Foundation welcomes Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Emmy®-award winning journalist and chief medical correspondent for CNN, to the main stage at the Jay and Linda Grunin Center for the Arts on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. Gupta will discuss “Chasing Life and Cheating Death” as part of the Foundation’s Blauvelt Speaker Series.
The event, which begins at 6:30pm, will feature a 40-minute presentation and a 30-minute Q&A session, with both in-person and livestream tickets available. The Grunin Center is located on the Ocean County College Main Campus, on College Drive in Toms River.
Gupta – a New York Times best-selling author and practicing neurosurgeon – plays an integral role in CNN’s reporting on health and medical news. He has covered some of the most important health stories in the United States and around the world, from operating rooms to war zones, and served as a trusted guide to viewers worldwide throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. He is also the host of the CNN Original Series Chasing Life with Dr. Sanjay Gupta, which follows his travels around the world in search of the secrets to living longer, healthier and happier. His podcast, Chasing Life, explores the science behind how we can all live well and thrive in the new normal.

This will be a full house event; there will not be socially distanced seating. Access to the live stream is free and limited to one ticket per viewing device. Advance registration at the Grunin website is required.
