The Theater Project Presents "Dracula, The Radio Play" October 29-31

(UNION, NJ) -- In one form or another, Dracula has fascinated audiences for generations, as a novel, a play, and too many movies about the Count to count. With so many holiday traditions interrupted this year, The Theater Project is offering some comfort food on the Zoom platform: Dracula, The Radio Play, as it might have been performed in the Lux Radio Theater in 1932. It takes place October 29-31. A donation of $15 is suggested.

Inaugural New Jersey State Solo and Ensemble Festival To Take Place In April

(WARREN, NJ) -- Arts Ed NJ, the statewide arts education policy and advocacy organization, has announced the inaugural New Jersey State Solo and Ensemble Festival (NJSEF). It is being launched for the 2020/2021 school year to recognize student achievement in music education across the state.

Centenary Stage Company Presents "Drive" by Deborah Yarchun

(HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) -- Centenary Stage Company’s rescheduled 2020 Women Playwrights Series launches on Wednesday, November 4 at 7:30pm with Drive by Deborah Yarchun.  The presentation will be held in the Kutz Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center.  Admission is by donation and advance reservations require a $5.00 minimum donation.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions and social distancing guidelines required by the State of New Jersey, seating is limited and advance reservation is strongly recommended.

New Jersey Hall Of Fame To Hold 12th Induction Ceremony Virtually October 18

(NEWARK , NJ) -- The New Jersey Hall of Fame’s 12th Annual Induction Ceremony, to be held virtually on Sunday, October 18 at 7:00pm, will feature many of the Garden State’s greatest performers and icons. Tony and Grammy award-winning Jason Alexander will be the event’s MC, while also inducting figures such as Rutgers women’s basketball coach C. Vivian Stringer, multiple award-winning actor Ed Harris, and Roots star John Amos. Strangers Things’ Gaten Matarazzo will perform a musical tribute to health care professionals, as well as induct former New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning.

NJ Business Action Center Hosts "Resources for Recovery" Webinar on October 21

(TRENTON, NJ) -- The New Jersey Business Action Center (NJBAC), a no-cost, confidential “business-first” resource housed within the New Jersey Department of State, will host a free webinar titled “Resources for Recovery” on Wednesday, October 21 at 12:00pm ET. The webcast will provide New Jersey businesses with an update on available tools and programs to help them through recovery from disruptions caused by COVID-19.
