(FREEHOLD, NJ) -- Center Players Dessert Theater will hold auditions for a production of “Shakespeare’s Lost Masterpiece” on Monday, February 11th and Tuesday, February 12th at Center Playhouse, 35 South St, in downtown Freehold, NJ. Auditions will run from 7:00pm to 9:00pm each night. The play was written by Larry Americ Allen and will be directed by Darrell Lawrence Willis, Sr.
Performance Dates: April 5-7, and possibly April 12-14, 2019; Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm.
Synopsis: This controversial play explores the relationship between a homeless man and a lost work by William Shakespeare. When the never-before-published work falls into the hands of the homeless man in San Francisco, the result is twists and turns, ruthless integrity, a seductive dramatic tragic-comedy climaxing into a heavenly-hellish ending. Warning: contains explicit language and themes.
