E'lissa Jones to perform at Riverside Rhythm & Rhyme

(SUCCASUNNA, NJ) -- Riverside Rhythm & Rhyme presents E'lissa Jones on Sunday, February 17 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at the Investors Bank Theater in Succassuna. Kyle Hancharick will open the show. Advance tickets are $20 for general admission (RAA/SSG/JAM members can get tickets for $15) and those under 18 can get in for free. Admission at the door is $22.
E'lissaJones, hailing from Warwick, NY, is a prolific songwriter, violinist, pianist, and guitarist. Her enthusiasm coupled with a rich, melancholy voice with velvety undertones has captivated audiences throughout the tri-state area. Powerful melodies and expressive lyrics pervade her music. Influential genres range from folk to rock. E'lissa has released six albums, Shadows (1997), This Melodie (2003), Anymore (2008), Sweet as the Sun (2010), Like Water (2011) with her latest CD Fire & Sun (2015). Her music can also be enjoyed in the 2014 film Strings Attached. Kyle Hancharick, also from Warwick NY to open the show. His passionate performances are punctuated by a crisp acoustic guitar and soaring tenor vocals, best personified in his 2018 EP Breathe. He has performed on the Emerging Artists Showcase at the 2018 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, and he has opened shows for the likes of Ellis Paul, Lucy Kaplansky, and Red Molly.
The One With The Yarn, by burgeoning, local artisan Miranda Vargo, will be offering beautiful, hand-knit items during the concert. Stay warm with her infinity scarves, hats, headbands, and other colorful & cozy creations. Custom orders available. She will accept cash and most major credit cards.
Skylands Songwriters Guildhosts learning and networking events such as songwriting workshops /seminars, Open Mics/Coffeehouses, songwriter showcases, and festivals. SSG is a volunteer-run organization with support from member dues, grants, donations, and community sponsors. Its members are diverse from budding amateurs to accomplished performers or simply original music enthusiasts!
